Relations between Barcelona and Ronaldinho have reached a point of no return and the club may give out with the Brazilian star at the end of the season, Spanish newspapers said on Wednesday. The club's management is fed up with the midfielder's late-night revelings and his unrelenting poor form this season, and is looking for a approach to get rid of him, said sports dailies Marca and Sport.
Club president Joan Laporta told a news conference late Tuesday there is "no annulment between Ronaldinho and Barca". Barca said on its website on Wednesday that Ronaldinho had performed recovering exercises in the club's gym in the morning.
But Spanish media said the separation has already been finalized and the question of the striker's exodus was discussed at a club meeting Tuesday.
The former World Player of the Year, 28, is having his worst season since arriving at Barca, and was not selected for the Brazil team that is to face Sweden in a friendly in London later Wednesday.
